Sliding driveway gates
Why choose an automatic sliding gate?
An automatic sliding gate lets you open and close your driveway from the car with the press of a button. It keeps children and pets away from the street, and you no longer need to get out in the rain or late at night to open the gate by hand.
A sliding gate takes up no room inside the property when it opens, which makes it the practical choice for narrow and sloped driveways and for Perth’s smaller, newer blocks. For businesses, a sliding gate secures the site and controls who comes in while keeping a tidy, professional entrance.
- Suits sloped and narrow driveways
- Opens without using space inside the block
- Built to measure in any powder-coat colour
- Quiet, smooth operation

Every sliding gate we automate comes with
We have built sliding gates and sliding driveway gates for Perth homes and businesses for many years. Each gate is designed for its property, in a modern or traditional style.
Marine grade aluminium
Frames and infills are marine grade aluminium, pretreated and then powder-coated in the colour you choose, so they stand up to WA conditions.
Proven motors
We fit motors from established brands that have been on the market for over 30 years, sized to the weight and width of your gate.
Safety beams
Every gate we automate has safety beams. If a car, person or object is in the gateway, the gate stops or opens again.
Battery backup
The motor has a battery backup, so the gate keeps opening and closing when the power goes out.
Long range remotes
Every system comes with long range remotes. You can add a keypad, an intercom or app control.
Mains or solar power
We connect the gate to mains power, or fit a solar panel where running a cable to the gate is difficult.
Planning your gate
What you need for an automatic sliding gate
A sliding gate needs a clear run beside the opening, along the fence or wall, at least as long as the gate itself, so it has somewhere to slide back to. The gate runs on a track set in a concrete footing across the driveway, and the motor sits beside the gate on its own pad.
Because the gate moves sideways instead of swinging, it suits sloped driveways and blocks where a swinging gate would hit a car parked close to the boundary. We check the run-back space, the slope and the best spot for the motor during the free on-site measure.
Did you know? A well built automatic gate adds security and street appeal, which many buyers look for. Some insurers also see gated properties as lower risk, so it is worth asking yours.

Is a sliding gate right for you?
Where sliding gates work best
Wide driveways
A single sliding gate can span a double driveway, with no gap down the middle.
Sloped ground
The gate travels across the slope, so it will not scrape on a driveway that rises behind it.
Limited space
Nothing swings into the driveway, so you can park close to the gate.
Security
A closed sliding gate is locked by the motor and is hard to force open.

Are quotes free?
Yes. We come to your property, measure up and talk through the options with you, then send you a quote. There is no charge for the visit.
How long does it take?
We aim to have a new gate installed around six weeks from when you place your order. The installation itself usually takes a few days, depending on the size of the job. We give you a timeline with your quote.
What are your gates made from?
Our gates are made from marine grade aluminium that is pretreated and then powder-coated in your choice of colour. We also work with steel where a job calls for it.
Can I choose my own design?
Yes. Every gate is made to measure, and you choose the style, the spacing and the colour. We can match an existing fence, or build the fence and gate together so they line up.
Will my gate work in a power outage?
Yes. Our gate motors have a battery backup, so the gate keeps opening and closing during a power cut.
Can I add a keypad, intercom or app control?
Yes. Every automatic gate comes with long range remotes, and you can add a keypad, an intercom or smartphone control. These can be fitted at installation or added later.
Do I need council approval?
Most gates do not need council approval. Some walls and fences do, depending on their height and where they sit on the block, so it is worth checking with your local council. If approval is needed, we can supply the details and specifications for your application.
Do your gates come with a warranty?
Yes. Our gates come with a warranty on the materials and on the automation system. The terms depend on the gate and motor you choose, and we go through them with you at the quote.
Do you service and repair gates?
Yes. We maintain and repair the gates we install and other automatic gates, including all major motor brands. Regular servicing keeps a gate running smoothly and helps avoid bigger repair bills later.
What are your payment terms?
We take a deposit to start the job, and the balance is due when the installation is finished.
