Picket fencing
A timeless look without the upkeep
Picket fencing is a classic choice, especially for character homes and heritage-style properties. Our aluminium picket fencing gives you the look of a traditional timber picket fence with the durability and low maintenance of aluminium, which suits the harsh WA climate.
Timber pickets need painting every few years and can crack, warp and rot in the summer sun and winter rain. Aluminium pickets are powder-coated in the colour you choose, so the finish lasts and the fence keeps its shape.
- Pointed-top or flat-top pickets
- Any powder-coat colour
- Matching pedestrian and driveway gates
- Gates can be automated

Designs
Choose your picket style
Daryl and the team can help with the design, layout and options to suit your property.
Pointed-top pickets
Traditional pointed pickets for a classic, heritage look.
Flat-top pickets
Square-topped pickets for a cleaner, more modern take on the style.
On a wall or full height
Pickets can sit on a low wall between piers or run full height along the boundary.
Your colour
White is the classic choice, but any powder-coat colour is available to match your home.
Matching gates
Picket gates to match
Most picket fences we install include a pedestrian gate and often a driveway gate. We build these in the same picket style and colour, as sliding or swing gates, and we can automate a picket driveway gate so it opens by remote.
See our driveway gates page for more options.

FAQs
Picket fencing questions
Can’t find what you need? Call Daryl on 0435 817 147.
Are quotes free?
Yes. We come to your property, measure up and talk through the options with you, then send you a quote. There is no charge for the visit.
Is aluminium fencing low maintenance?
Yes. Powder-coated aluminium does not rust, rot or warp, and it never needs painting or staining. An occasional wash with water keeps it looking new.
Can I choose the colour?
Yes. Our fencing and gates are powder-coated, and you can choose from a wide range of colours, including black, white, greys and timber-look finishes.
Does aluminium picket fencing look like timber?
From the street it has the same proportions and shape as a painted timber picket fence. The difference is that the powder-coated finish does not peel, and the pickets do not crack or rot.
Do I need council approval?
Most gates do not need council approval. Some walls and fences do, depending on their height and where they sit on the block, so it is worth checking with your local council. If approval is needed, we can supply the details and specifications for your application.
What are your payment terms?
We take a deposit to start the job, and the balance is due when the installation is finished.
